This week’s recommendations are brought to you by moms everywhere, but especially my Mama-
I love your squeezy hugs and you’re still the first person I call when I’m sick or hurt (or anyone I know is…). I’m so thankful you’re my mom! And Mum-Mum, I am so thankful for your cards (I got two this week!) and sweet emails and there is no one I would rather go shopping with. I can’t wait to see in you just a few months!
You should be spending time with your mother today, so I’ll keep this brief. Here are some of the best things I found around the internet this week.
On the Web:
– My Wish List For Teachers. I could get behind this.
– I have listened to your stories. Velvet Ashes has a series this week on coming back to America after living abroad, and I could link to all of the posts because they are so where I’m at right now. This article has some wonderful advice for transitioning back.
– I’m sorry, I can’t read your blog right now. “Words that should resurrect and inspire me are having quite the opposite effect on my gluttonous mind. iConsume iConsume iConsume. O, friend! Your finished masterpiece, your polished words, your Mona Lisa is triggering some junky demons of scarcity, anxiety and insecurity in me.”
On This Blog:
This week’s most popular post was my Jesus Feminist Book Review. Don’t forget that we have another short giveaway running until Tuesday night, and to check out this month’s featured sellers in the sidebar!
What about you? What’s on your computer/bookshelf/iPod this week?
